After the excitement of European football, the 2024-25 Premier League is back with Gameweek 24.

Once again the weekend’s action is spread across three days, starting with Nottingham Forest hosting Brighton and Hove Albion. The Tricky Trees will be looking to bounce back from a heavy defeat last time out, to tighten their grip on a spot in the top four.

Gameweek 24 ends with Chelsea trying to get back into the top four when they host West Ham United and former boss Graham Potter. Premier League leaders Liverpool also have a tricky game against in-form Bournemouth.

But the highlight of the weekend comes on Sunday. Arsenal host Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium, a game which could have a big role to play in both the title and top four races.

We’ve taken a look at all 10 matches from gameweek 24 and offered our predicted scores.

Nottingham Forest vs Brighton

Nobody expected Nottingham Forest to lose as heavily as they did last weekend, so now they’ll be looking to bounce back in emphatic fashion. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are unbeaten in their last five home league games, winning four of those. But Brighton are also unbeaten in their past five away league games, drawing three. The Seagulls have scored at least two goals in four of those matches too.

Everton vs Leicester

  • Saturday 1st February, 3pm
  • Preview: Everton vs Leicester predictions and stats

Everton and Leicester City both come into this game off the back of victories, crucial to their relegation battle. The Toffees have now won each of their past two league games, with David Moyes starting to turn things around at Goodison Park. Leicester, meanwhile, ended a seven-game losing streak. But the Foxes have still struggled in front of goal, netting just four goals across their past eight games — two of which came last time out.

Newcastle vs Fulham

Newcastle United suffered a heavy defeat the last time they played at St James’ Park, bringing a three-game winning streak to an end. There’s another tough match to start February with Fulham an interesting prospect on the road. The Cottagers have scored exactly two goals in each of their past four away league games. They’ve also drawn four of their 11 away league games this season. These two sides might cancel each other out.

Bournemouth vs Liverpool

  • Preview: Bournemouth vs Liverpool predictions and stats

Bournemouth (11 games) and Liverpool (18 games) boast two of the three longest active Premier League unbeaten runs this season. The Cherries continued their run with a 5-0 hammering of Nottingham Forest last time out, a result nobody expected. They have also been tough to face at home this season, already recording wins over Man City and Arsenal. But the Cherries have lost 11 of their 12 Premier League games against sides starting the day top of the table. And Liverpool have won 10 of their last 11 games against Bournemouth.

Ipswich vs Southampton

  • Saturday 1st February, 3pm
  • Preview: Ipswich vs Southampton predictions and stats

Another crucial relegation battle, Ipswich Town and Southampton both enter the weekend in the relegation zone. But Ipswich could, at least, move out of the relegation zone if they win here. Southampton have taken just six points from their 23 games so far and are on a six-game losing streak in the league. Ipswich are also winless in four, losing their past three. But they are unbeaten in their last four league games against Southampton with two wins and two draws.

Wolves vs Aston Villa

  • Saturday 1st February, 5:30pm, Sky Sports Premier League
  • Preview: Wolves vs Aston Villa predictions and stats

Wolverhampton Wanderers had a bright start to life under Vitor Pereira, but now they are back struggling. They’ve lost their past four games, and it’s not a good moment to welcome fellow Midlands club Aston Villa to Molineux. The Villans are unbeaten in their past five league games, and Unai Emery is yet to lose a Premier League match against a side starting the day in the relegation zone as Aston Villa manager.

Prediction: Wolves 1-3 Aston Villa (13/1 with BetMGM)

Man Utd vs Crystal Palace

  • Sunday 2nd February, 2pm
  • Preview: Man Utd vs Crystal Palace predictions and stats

Things look to be turning around for Ruben Amorim at Manchester United, but they have still been struggling at Old Trafford. And Crystal Palace are the latest team looking to add to the misery. The Eagles have won four of their past five away league games, drawing the other. And they’ve also won three of their past five games against Man Utd at Old Trafford. To make matters worse, Man Utd have lost three of their past four home league games by a margin of at least two goals.

Brentford vs Tottenham

  • Sunday 2nd February, 2pm, Sky Sports Premier League
  • Preview: Brentford vs Tottenham predictions and stats

Tottenham Hotspur are on a rotten run in the Premier League. Ange Postecoglou’s side have lost six of their past seven Premier League games, picking up just one point since 22nd December. They’ve lost the past four in a row too. Brentford, meanwhile, are the top scorers at home in the league this season, netting 29 times. The Bees have also taken 23 points from 12 home league games this season.

Arsenal vs Man City

This match is crucial. Arsenal need to win to keep their Premier League title dreams going. Man City need a victory to boost their chances of finishing in the top four. And both sides are in good form. Arsenal are unbeaten in 13 games in the Premier League now, while Man City haven’t lost in six. The Citizens’ poor run looks to be over. But Arsenal are also unbeaten in their past three games against Man City, with two of those ending level.

Chelsea vs West Ham

The return of Graham Potter to Stamford Bridge, the former Chelsea boss hasn’t had the best of starts to life as West Ham manager. The Hammers have won just one of their four games under Potter across all competitions, losing two with one draw. Chelsea have a good home record in the Premier League against their former managers, unbeaten in the 22 such games (14 wins, eight draws). The Blues have also won 13 of their past 18 home league games against West Ham, with four draws and one defeat.
