Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin now finds himself on the periphery at the Santiago Bernabéu despite playing a starring role in the club’s La Liga campaign last season.

It looks as though it is only a matter of time until the Ukrainian stopper finds himself out the exit door, despite playing over 30 games for Los Blancos over the course of last season.

As per Diario AS, the 25-year-old goalkeeper is currently finding himself the subject of interest from the Premier League, namely from London club Chelsea.

The transfer initially looks like a complicated one, with The Blues not quite agreeing with Real Madrid’s €30 million valuation for Lunin.

However, one possible way a deal could be crafted is if Chelsea offer Kepa Arrizabalaga in exchange, a player Real Madrid have shown interest in already, having spent last season on loan at the club.

Any deal between the clubs will also include money being changed hands, with Madrid likely to have to sweeten the deal in order to get their man.

For now, the rumours will likely rumble on, but watch this space for a transfer that looks more and more likely to happen at some point before the end of the summer.
