Hugo Ekitiké (22) has successfully rebuilt his career at Eintracht Frankfurt after a difficult, short spell at Paris Saint-Germain, however, his stay in Germany may ultimately be short-lived, according to a report from Fabrizio Romano.

Ekitiké, whose move to Eintracht Frankfurt became permanent in the summer after a loan spell in the second half of last season, has 32 goal contributions in 42 games this season and netted a hat-trick for France’s U21 side against England on Friday night.

England may be where he is heading at the end of the season. As previously reported by Florian Plettenberg, Ekitiké is likely to leave Frankfurt at the end of the season but not on the cheap. The Bundesliga side, who signed the forward for €16m, are asking for €80m.

The German journalist has previously cited interest from Manchester United and Romano has now added that Premier League sides are now “calling” about the Frenchman, ahead of the summer transfer window.
