While Inter Milan continue to await clarity on Denzel Dumfries return from the ankle problem that has troubled him for weeks, the Dutch wing-back remains firmly at the centre of growing transfer speculation.
The situation has been fuelled further by Dumfries’ recent change of agent, with reports via FCInterNews.
The Dutchman moved from Jorge Mendes to Ali Barat.
It is a decision widely interpreted as a clear signal of his long-standing ambition to play in the Premier League.
Dumfries has never hidden his desire to test himself in England and, throughout his time in Milan, has done so while maintaining a professional attitude on and off the pitch.
However, the feeling at Viale della Liberazione is that the coming summer could prove decisive.

The Netherlands international is understood to be hopeful that his new representative can attract interest from a top English club.
Indeed, one willing to activate the €25 million release clause included in his current contract.
Inter are well aware of the scenario and have been planning accordingly for some time.
Even before Luis Henrique began to show signs of improvement in form, the club had already started evaluating profiles suitable for Cristian Chivu’s system.
Marco Palestra remains one of the most appreciated options after his strong performances at Cagliari.
However, his situation is complicated by Atalanta’s ownership and a valuation that could rise beyond Inter’s financial parameters.
As a result, attention has once again turned to Michael Kayode.
The 2004-born right-back was developed at Fiorentina before being sold permanently to Brentford last summer for over €17 million.
He is growing rapidly in the Premier League and has quickly won over the Bees’ supporters.
Inter’s scouting department has followed Kayode for years and continues to rate him highly.
