FromDavid Raya’s crucial penalty save for Arsenal to Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s dominant display for Leeds, several players stepped up when their teams needed them most.

Goalkeeper: David Raya - Arsenal

A superb spot-kick save and a game-changing moment for Arsenal. Raya's reactive save from Enzo Le Fee's penalty came just 121 seconds before Arsenal opened the scoring at Sunderland. A game of fine margins decided by, arguably, the best goalkeeper in thePremier League.

Right-back: Daniel Munoz - Nottingham Forest

Oliver Glasner knew what he was getting with Daniel Munoz, and it was all on display this weekend. Five chances created, seven defensive duels won, and some lovely link-up with Morgan Gibbs-White down the right. Munoz is perfect for Glasner's system.

Centre-back: Marc Guehi - Manchester City

Led by example as 10-manManchester City claimed derby-day bragging rights at Old Trafford. The England defender made more blocks, clearances, and headed clearances than anyone else on the pitch as the Cityzens dug deep to claim an important three points.

Centre-back: Jarrad Branthwaite - Everton

Had it not been for a questionable fitness record,Everton would have faced a real fight to hang onto Jarrad Branthwaite in recent windows. 'Strong as an ox, rapid, brilliant on the ball, two footed and communicates really well' is how Everton captain James Tarkowski described him this week. That's all the attributes you'd want in a central defender.

Left-back: Vitallii Mykolenko - Everton

A dogged defensive display from Mykolenko who made a series of vital interventions. Mykolenko made seven tackles, the most recorded in a Premier League game this season. He helped shut the door on Spurs as Everton's unbeaten start continued.

Central midfield: Elliot Anderson - Manchester City

A classy derby performance from Manchester City's big-money recruit, who oozed quality in difficult circumstances at Old Trafford. Anderson barely put a foot wrong, helping the Cityzens stay in the game despite Phil Foden's red card, before snatching all three points.

Central midfield: Bruno Guimaraes - Arsenal

A massive moment for the summer signing who seemed to revel in his every touch being booed by the Sunderland support. Guimaraes' goal was a beauty, curled in off the crossbar to give the Gunners lift-off at the Stadium of Light. He helped change the game from the bench.

Central midfield: Malick Yalcouye  - Brighton

Brighton just keep unearthing gems. Malick Yalcouye has made his mark this season and shone during the Seagulls' big win at Coventry. The 20-year-old scored his second goal of the season with a brilliant individual effort and worked so hard in the number ten role. Looks a gem.

Right-wing: Mohamed Belloumi - Hull City

An afternoon to remember for Mo Belloumi who scored both goals in Hull's 2-2 draw at Chelsea. The son of Algerian greatLakhdar Belloumi, the winger showed he's got some of his old man's class with two well-taken goals at Stamford Bridge. Hull march on, as an unbeaten start continues.

Left-wing: Kevin Schade - Brentford

A clinical brace for the German asBrentford and Bournemouth played out a thriller. Schade's emphatic header opened the scoring, before he netted a second with a lovely lob over Djordje Petrovic, following a calamity from the Cherries. The 24-year-old now has three goals in four games, second only to Erling Haaland.

Forward: Dominic Calvert-Lewin - Leeds

A magnificent centre-forward performance from Calvert-Lewin, who can't stop scoring at Elland Road. Calvert-Lewin bullied Newcastle's centre-backs in the air and was involved in two Leeds goals, heading in the second via a deflection off Jayden Bogle, before showing good footwork to make it three. He'll hope for an England call on Friday.
