There are usually goals, and plenty of them, when this pair meet in the league, the last six encounters producing 28. That's a strike every 19 minutes. Over 3.5 this time out therefore is a decent shout at 9/5

As for individuals - and who should be backed to convert the expected volume of chances created - all eyes naturally fall on Erling Haaland, the phenomenally prolific forward already boasting 21 in 21 across all comps and well on course to smash yet more records.

The Striking Viking has fired six in four previously against Palace in league meetings.

Backing Haaland to score two or more at 7/2 is the way to go, with multiples scored in exactly a third of his league outings to date.

Elsewhere, Yeremy Pino's propensity to foul is worth noting, especially with the left-sided attacker coming up against Matheus Nunes on Sunday.

Pino fouled four times across Palace's last home fixture while Nunes was fouled on three occasions at the Bernabeu midweek.

Two players stand out in this intriguing affair between sides who have shown some improvement of late, even if both are still at the 'whisper it' stage of recovery.

Brazilian mardy-bum Richarlison netted against Forest last term and this is pertinent because he boasts eight goal involvements in 2025/26, the most of any Spurs player.

The 28-year-old forward has bagged three in his last four league starts and is 21/10 to score anytime at the City Ground.

It's early shots though that most appeals. Four of his last five attempts on goal have been committed to before the break and he's 13/8 to have 2 or more first half shots here.

Elliot Anderson meanwhile also converted when these sides last met but it's not the midfielder's attacking attributes that strike a chord.The England star has drawn the second highest number of fouls in the Premier League this term, an impressive 2.67 per 90 that amounts to 40 all told.

Sunderland v Newcastle - Barnestorming bet

Backing both teams to score is a good addition to any derby acca this weekend, the first top-flight meeting between these North-East rivals for nine years.

Newcastle's last eight league games have all ended with goals for and against while the same goes for the Mackem's last three home fixtures. Backing BTTS offers up 8/11

Moreover, Sunderland have scored at least once in all of their seven home outings since securing promotion with Granit Xhaka and Enzo Le Fee contributing more than most. Both have four goal involvements apiece at the Stadium of Light to their name. The former is 11/4 to score or assist.

As for the Magpies, Anthony Gordon has been clinical of late, scoring three goals from three shots on target, but with a greater volume Harvey Barnes stands out.

The former Leicester star has taken on 10 SOT in his last six starts. Twice he found the target in each half.

West Ham v Aston Villa - Watkins worth a punt

They may have lost only once in their last six outings but the Hammers' inability to keep a clean sheet - last doing so way back in August - hardly bodes well against a Villa side in the ascendancy.

Boasting the third best chance conversion rate in the top-flight since MD5 - the week when Unai Emery's men really started to click- Villa have subsequently accrued 27 points from 30 and naturally such fine form has brought several names to the fore.

Emi Buendia has been brilliant. Donyell Malen has been superb. It's a testament to how well the Villans are playing that neither man is an automatic starter.

If Malen does feature he's well worth backing at 9/5 to score, notching every 85 minutes since the beginning of November.It's Ollie Watkins though who most grabs the attention; his shot count rising week on week. He may be goal-shy by his usual standards this term but the England striker has taken on four attempts in each of his last two league games.

He is therefore well-priced to make it a hat-trick against a side who has faced a shot every 5.1 minutes since the beginning of November.

Brentford v Leeds - Igor to break deadlock

Kevin Schade is a big miss for the Bees, the forward suspended for an accumulation of cautions, and it's worth staying with ill-discipline to point out that Yehor Yarmoliuk has been booked in each of his last two appearances. The Ukrainian is 7/2 to make it three from three.

As for Leeds, with Ethan Ampadu cleaning up his act lately attention turns to Anton Stach who committed four fouls last time out vs Liverpool.With Schade absent from the hosts' frontline even greater emphasis will be placed on Igor Thiago's goal-threat as Brentford seek to extend on their impressive home record. The less said about their away form, the better.

Thiago has scored in eight different matches this season in the Premier League. In five of them he broke the deadlock.
