Crystal Palace v Man United - Diallo a shot to nothing

Sunday 12:00Live on TNT Sports & discovery +

The high-flying Eagles are unbeaten in 12 at Selhurst Park with Ismaila Sarr and Jean-Philippe Mateta bagging 55% of their goals across this period. The latter has opened the scoring in a quarter of Palace's league games this term and is 4/1 to do so again on Sunday.

Yet while the hosts' dangerous duo continue to grab the headlines Palace's defence is deserving of props. Oliver Glasner's side have kept three straight clean sheets and have conceded the second fewest number of goals in the top-flight.

In those three shut-outs they faced just seven shots per 90, two per 90 on target.

This intrigues because, despite their inconsistent showings and general wastefulness in the final third, United are the undisputed shot-kings of the Premier League, racking up a substantial 183 attempts to date.

Bruno Fernandes took on five shots last time out vs Everton but his numbers notable drop when away from Old Trafford. Instead, Amad Diallo appeals, the Ivorian also taking on five efforts last Monday, and four recently at Forest.

Palace are fancied to secure the points this weekend at 13/10 but expect Dean Henderson in nets to be troubled along the way.

Aston Villa v Wolves - Visitors to up the intensity

Sunday 14.05Live on Sky Sports Premier League

A home loss to Palace last weekend in Rob Edwards' first game in charge suggests a 'new manager bounce' is not forthcoming for the tamed Wolves and looking at their disastrous campaign as a whole it's hard to identify their biggest concern.

Is it a porous defence that has conceded every 40 minutes this term? Or their shot-shy frontline who have converted just seven from a league-low of 11 big chances created?

Certainly Morgan Rogers can take full advantage of the former's failings, Villa's form-man accruing five goal involvements in his last seven league outings. In this exact fixture last season, the midfielder assisted twice and is 1/1 to score or assist again.

Ill-discipline is perhaps the best angle to take here though, because if Wolves are incapable of raising their game under Edwards they can increase their intensity. Last weekend Toti Gomes was keen to show his new gaffer why he's captain, in doing so crossing the line on four occasions.

He's well-priced to fall foul again at Villa Park.

Nottingham Forest v Brighton - Welbeck well backed

Sunday 14:05Live on Sky Sports Cricket

Morgan Gibbs-White and Danny Welbeck are the men to watch in what should be a captivating encounter at the City Ground, not least because Forest are a revived proposition under Sean Dyche. Eight goals in their last three outings is testament to that, three of which came at Anfield.

As for the Seagulls, they have largely impressed at home but been a curate's egg away. Interestingly no top-flight team have scored more goals after the break - a remarkable 79% of their season's haul - while six of Forest's eight under Dyche have been converted in that period.

Second half most goals really tempts at 11/10

Determining who might get on the score-sheet leads us to Welbeck, the 35-year-old registering eight goal involvements in his last seven starts. The former United forward notched against Forest last season and pertinently was also booked in both meetings.

West Ham v Liverpool - Wilson to worsen Reds woes

Sunday 14:05Live on Sky Sports Main Event

Each and every week we expect a reaction from Liverpool to their ongoing descent into crisis. Aside from a brace of Champions League wins, and a routine victory over Aston Villa, each and every week they continue to plummet.

A thumping home loss to PSV midweek means Arne Slot's beleaguered Reds have lost nine of their last 12, partly a consequence of coming second in duels won in seven of those games.

They have lost by a 3+ margin for three consecutive games for the first time since 1953. In those trio of defeats they faced a shot on target every 14 minutes.

After taking a while to find his feet at the London Stadium, Callum Wilson has taken on six shots in his last three outings. Four of them have been on target and three of them were converted. All have come in the first half.

Chelsea v Arsenal - Saka to draw fouls

Sunday 16:30Live on Sky Sports Main Event

The hosts are winless in seven vs the Gunners but go into the most difficult task of their season to date armed with three consecutive clean sheets.

That's more than can be said of Mikel Arteta's side who have conceded at least once in their last three.

Granted, that is a pernickety criticism of what is an exceptionally well put together side, but if you feel Arsenal's rearguard has been rendered a touch ordinary by the absence of Gabriel - and evidence is there to back that theory up - then over 1.5 goals for the Blues at 15/8 is worth a punt.Of those likely to make that happen Neto stands out, the Portuguese winger involved in five goal involvements in five league starts. He is 13/5 to score or assist at the Bridge.

It's cards and fouls though that most appeal here, with the last six meetings producing 5.1 cautions per 90. Over 4.5 cards offers up 19/20

As for individuals, Marc Cucurella has committed 3+ fouls in three of his last six starts while his chief tormentor this Sunday, Bukayo Saka, has been fouled every 37 minutes this season.
