Ramadan policy remains in place across Premier League

Premier League to continue Ramadan breaks for fasting players
The Premier League and the FA will again allow brief match pauses so Muslim players can break their fast during Ramadan.
British media reports confirmed that the Premier League and the The Football Association will continue policy that allows short pauses in matches during Ramadan.
The aim is to give Muslim players and officials if needed, a chance to break their fast after sunset.
According to BBC, team captains and match officials will discuss in advance whether pause is required. If agreed, a rough time will be set before kick-off.
The break will be short and strictly limited to breaking the fast.
The report stressed that matches will not be stopped while the ball is in play. Instead the pause will happen at the nearest suitable stoppage, such as goal kick, free kick or throw-in.
Officials have also made it clear that the pause cannot be used for tactical talks, water breaks or coaching instructions.
Its only purpose is to allow players to eat or drink briefly.
This approach follows the same model used in previous seasons and is designed to respect both religious needs and the flow of the game.
The agreement was first reached in 2021 when the Premier League officially allowed Muslim players to break their fast during matches.
The first well-known example came in April 2021 during match between Leicester City & Crystal Palace.
That game was paused around the 30 minute at a goal kick allowing Wesley Fofana & Cheikhou Kouyate to take fluids and energy drinks.
