Premier League and Football League authorities will again grant pauses in play to allow Muslim players to break their fast during this period.

With sunset in the UK due to range from around 5pm and 7pm during the Ramadan period, the pauses will impact games scheduled for the Saturday evening slot (17:30 kick-off) and Sunday afternoon (16:30 kick-off).

According to the BBC, officials and club captains will find a ‘natural pause’ to allow players to break their fast.
