The second monthly Premier League Player Rankings are out, weighing form, data and the eye test to pick the top 50. According to NY Times, the list will be refreshed throughout 2026-27.

Last month’s top five were the only Premier League players on this year’s Ballon d’Or shortlist. Debate is welcome, but competition for places is fierce.

Erling Haaland leads the latest standings, with Gabriel second and Declan Rice third. Elliot Anderson is fourth after a £116million move to Manchester City, and Bruno Fernandes completes the top five.

Arsenal’s core features heavily. Bukayo Saka has three goals in five, and William Saliba’s lay-off prompted a £50million deal for Ezri Konsa, whose calm defending only wobbled during the defeat at Brighton.

Chelsea’s start is lively. Joao Pedro’s three goals and three assists in four have been checked by injury, Cole Palmer looks revived, Morgan Rogers breached Hull’s defence, and Moises Caicedo has only 13 league minutes.
