The countdown opens at 50 with Jordan Pickford, followed by Iliman Ndiaye and Marcus Rashford. Early entries also include Alex Scott and Youri Tielemans, with Matheus Cunha and Micky van de Ven further along.

Just outside the elite, Ismaila Sarr is 20, Jeremy Doku 19, Joao Pedro 18, Enzo Fernandez 17, Rayan Cherki 16, David Raya 15, Antoine Semenyo 14, Cole Palmer 13, Virgil van Dijk 12 and Florian Wirtz 11.

The top 10 features Elliot Anderson 10th, Bukayo Saka ninth, Dominik Szoboszlai eighth, Moises Caicedo seventh, Bruno Guimaraes sixth, William Saliba fifth, Gabriel fourth, Declan Rice third, Bruno Fernandes second and Erling Haaland first.
