There was almost a full house on the training pitches at Deutsche Bank Park on Tuesday, with only Nnamdi Collins absent due to injury.

Three clubs are battling for a place in the UEFA Conference League on Bundesliga Matchday 34, with Eintracht Frankfurt in the thick of it. On Tuesday afternoon, four teams battled it out in a mini tournament on the upper training pitch at Deutsche Bank Park in preparation for the season finale, the home match against VfB Stuttgart on Saturday.

The conditions were unseasonably cold with the odd rain shower. However, there should be a red-hot atmosphere inside the stadium on Saturday afternoon. Before that, an intensive week of training lies ahead for the Eagles, which began with an almost full-strength roster of 28 players – only the injured Nnamdi Collins was absent because of injury. Jens Grahl trained individually on the next pitch.

The team will train every day until the last match home of the season on Saturday 16 May at 15:30 CEST, when everything’s at stake.
