The Men’s First Team secured three points at the start of the 2026/27 season, beating Frosinone 1-0 at the Stadio Benito Stirpe. Gleison Bremer’s header in the first half was all the Bianconeri needed.

Coach Luciano Spalletti and Bremer spoke to the press after the match.

LUCIANO SPALLETTI

“The team has shown it has an identity, but at times we’re a bit careless and we’re not good at showing the determination we need. It can happen, especially at the start; we’ll work on it. Against Frosinone, it’s not easy to control the game; it’s easier to go and score goals and seal the win than to manage the game. Today there were always spaces available, in fact, there were too many, and we didn’t make the most of them.”

GLEISON BREMER

“I’m delighted with the win and the goal, though it’s a shame we couldn’t seal the match in the first half. We’ve still got a lot of work to do; there are some new players who’ve only just joined us, and we need to improve in certain areas. The header is one of my strengths. I’ve always kept my head down and worked hard, and I’m pleased if my goals can help the team. When matches are this tough, we can break the deadlock with a set-piece, just as we did today.”
