The Juventus Men’s First Team beat Cagliari 2-1 at the Allianz Stadium on Serie A Matchday 13, thanks to two goals from Kenan Yildiz.

Coach Luciano Spalletti and Chico Conceicao spoke to the press after the match.

“We started off tentatively, then we reacted and did well to manage the situation. We did better in the second half, creating several chances that we should have converted. We need to score goals and be more ruthless. However, I'm happy with the lads' performance. [Lois] Openda and [Jonathan] David are two centre forwards with different characteristics: one attacks further forward, while the other is more of a link-up player.”

FRANCISCO CONCEICAO

"We played to win by more goals. I also had the chance to score but I didn't. We didn't start the game well, but then we improved and in the second half we could have closed the game out earlier. We know the responsibility we have and it has to be something we take in our stride. We played well in Bodo, we won, and today we wanted to build on that with another victory, and we did well to get it. The manager likes us to have a lot of possession and try to dominate the game, and that's what we're trying to do and what we work on during the week."
