Preston Plambeck signs short-term deal and available for Toronto FC trip

The club said in a statement that midfielder Preston Plambeck has signed a short-term agreement from MLS NEXT Pro side Inter Miami II. He will be available for selection for today's trip to Toronto FC.

It is his third such call-up, having previously been in the matchday squad and made his MLS debut against New England Revolution.

An Academy graduate, Plambeck made his professional debut for Inter Miami in the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro regular season. He started his first appearance on 7 April 2025, scoring in the away match against Atlanta United 2.

He went on to make 19 appearances in 2025, contributing one goal and one assist.

In 2026 he has been a mainstay for Inter Miami II. He has made seven starts in the MLS NEXT Pro regular season, registering two goals and two assists.
