Nottingham Forest will hope to build on their impressive midweek display against Porto, but they face a Bournemouth side enjoying a remarkable start to the season and currently sitting third in the Premier League table.
The Cherries have collected 15 points under Andoni Iraola, turning the Vitality Stadium into a fortress.
It has been a chaotic campaign for Forest so far, with three managers departing before Gameweek 10.
Now led by Sean Dyche, the Reds have a mountain to climb as they sit 18th in the table following a disastrous spell under Ange Postecoglou, during which they failed to win any of their seven matches in all competitions at the City Ground.
Dyche now steps into the role aiming to halt Forest’s slide before their situation becomes severe. However, his first league test is a daunting trip to the south coast.
Bournemouth’s only defeat this season came on the opening day at Anfield – and even in that match, they looked competitive. Antoine Semenyo and Tyler Adams have been standout performers, helping Iraola shape a side pushing beyond expectations.
The historical record offers Forest little encouragement. They are winless in their last 10 meetings with Bournemouth, losing six and drawing four since the 2014/15 Championship campaign.
To make matters worse, Bournemouth are currently on their longest top-flight winning streak in club history.
As for team news, Enes Ünal and David Brooks remain sidelined for the hosts, while club-record signing Evanilson is still a doubt with a calf injury. Youngster Julio Soler is back in contention to bolster the depth of Iraola’s exciting squad.
Forest, meanwhile, have close to a clean bill of health for Dyche’s Premier League debut, with only Ola Aina ruled out until the new year. Changes are expected from midweek, and Chris Wood could return to the starting XI after being left out against Chelsea and Porto.
