Brentford take on Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt in their final pre-season test at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Keith Andrews’ men will look to finalise their preparations for the Premier League’s return next weekend, when the Bees host Tottenham.

Brentford beat Rennes 4-2 in France last week, which saw Igor Thiago return following his World Cup campaign with Brazil.

The Bee’s manager will be taking one last look at his side before deciding the starting XI in their League opener against Spurs.

Brentford finished ninth last season, missing out on European football on the final day after being edged out by Brighton on goal difference.

Their £17million signing from Burnley, Jaidon Anthony will be looking to gain valuable minutes with his new side as will fellow new signing Callum Wilson.

Fabio Carvalho, who spent much of last season sidelined with a cruciate ligament injury, will be hoping for more minutes after coming off the bench against Rennes.

Raphael Onyedika is expected to anchor Frankfurt’s midfield, sitting behind the more advanced pairing of Can Uzun and World Cup 2014 winner Mario Götze.

Noel Futkeu arrived at Frankfurt this summer having finished the Bundesliga 2 as top scorer.

The 23-year-old found the net 19 times for Greuther Fürth last season and has predatory instincts in front of goal.

Die Adler (The Eagles) finished eighth in the Bundesliga last season and after the departure of Dino Toppmöller and later Albert Riera they reappointed Adi Hütter in May.

Frankfurt conceded the third most goals in the Bundesliga last season so will be looking to tighten up this year despite the loss of Nathaniel Brown to Bayern Munich.

They have enjoyed an impressive pre-season, winning five consecutive games, including a 2-0 victory over Premier League new boys Hull City.
