Fiorentina, meanwhile, come into the weekend sitting second in the table and six points behind Juventus.

So, let’s look at some of the more interesting statistics around this weekend’s fixture.

Head-to-head

  • Juventus have scored 43 Serie A goals against Fiorentina, only scoring more (49) against Sassuolo.

Interesting facts

  • The three players with the most goal contributions in Serie A all play for Juventus and Fiorentina: Veronica Boquete (11, four goals and seven assists), Arianna Caruso (nine, five goals and four assists) and Cristiana Girelli (nine, eight goals and one assist).
  • With 10 wins and two draws, Juventus are one of four sides in Europe’s top-five leagues yet to lose this season, along with Lyon, Chelsea and Barcelona. Should they avoid defeat on Sunday, it will be the fifth time the Bianconere have gone unbeaten in the opening 13 matchdays of a campaign.
  • The Bianconere haven’t lost in any of their last eight away games in Serie A. They previously managed nine such results between September 2017 and March 2018, and 28 between April 2019 and February 2022.
  • Juventus are currently on a 15-match unbeaten run in Serie A, only managing longer streaks between 2019 and 2022 (54) and between 2017 and 2018 (17).
