Let’s get up to speed ahead of Saturday’s game in Tuscany with a look at some of the stats surrounding the fixture.

INTERESTING FACTS

  • Fiorentina are the side against whom Juventus have won the most matches across all competitions - 23 times - including the most recent meeting in the Italian Cup semi-final.
  • The game against Fiorentina will be Juventus Women’s 200th in Serie A - they have won 153, drawn 23 and lost 23 in the 199 so far.
  • Three of Ana Capeta’s five Juventus goals since her winter arrival have come against Fiorentina, all of those in the two-legged Italian Cup semi-final.
  • Chiara Beccari has been involved in more goals in Serie A only against Sassuolo (six) than against Fiorentina: five (three goals and two assists). With one goal, the striker would become the first player born since 2002 in Serie A to score at least five goals in three separate seasons in the tournament.
  • Amalie Vangsgaard has scored more goals against no team in all competitions than against Fiorentina: two (the same as against Roma), both last season.

  • Three of Fiorentina’s four league wins over Juventus have come at home.
  • This Serie A Women season, only leaders Roma have lost fewer matches (none) at home than Fiorentina’s one (level with Inter).
  • Iris Omarsdottir will be aiming to score in back-to-back games for the first time as a Fiorentina player, having scored last weekend against Juventus.
  • Furthermore, only three foreign players have scored more than one goal for the Tuscan club against the Bianconere so far: Madelen Janogy (six), Vero Boquete (four) and Alexandra Johannsdottir (two).
  • Emma Færge is the player who boasts the most successful passes (896) and most touches (1225) in the current Serie A.
