Jordan face Algeria tomorrow morning in their second Group J match at the San Francisco Bay Area stadium, as they search for their first win of the tournament.

Jordan were beaten by Austria 3-1 on their debut, but they have the chance to claim their first win when they face the North American side tomorrow. The debutants are currently third in Group J and face Argentina in their final group-stage match next week, which could determine whether they finish in third or fourth in the group.

Jordan and Algeria have met three times before, with both sides recording one win, one draw and one defeat. It will be the first-ever meeting between the sides in the World Cup, with it being a crucial fixture for both sides. Jordan have lost four of their last six matches across all competitions, drawing the other two.

Meanwhile, Algeria never stood a chance against Lionel Messi as he scored his first World Cup hat trick, which saw Argentina defeat the African side 3-0.

It is the first time Algeria have featured in the FIFA World Cup since 2014, where they reached Round 16 before being knocked out by eventual winners Germany. The two-time African champions will confirm back-to-back appearances in the knockout stage should they win their remaining group games.

Algeria have won three of their last six matches across all competitions, while also recording two defeats and one draw.

The match will kick off at 4am UK and 8pm in the USA and will be shown live on ITV 1 and is available to stream via ITVX.
