The Juventus Men’s First Team continue their 2025/26 UEFA Champions League campaign with a League Phase Matchday 2 fixture away against Villarreal.
Here's all you need to know ahead of Wednesday's 21:00 CEST game in Spain:
FAMILIAR FOES | This will be the first time Villarreal host an Italian team since February 2022, also in the Champions League against Juventus. Dusan Vlahovic opened the scoring after just 33 seconds then, but Villarreal came back to draw 1-1 in the first leg of the Round of 16.
GOOD ON THE ROAD | Juventus have only lost one of their last six away games against Spanish sides in the Champions League. That loss came to Atletico Madrid back in February 2019.
TURKISH THREAT | Kenan Yildiz scored and provided an assist in the draw against Borussia Dortmund, becoming the youngest Juventus player and youngest Turkish player ever to both score and assist in a single match in the competition (20 years and 135 days).
IMPACT | Dusan Vlahovic was involved in three of Juventus’ four goals against Dortmund on Matchday 1 (two goals and one assist), despite just coming on as a 60th-minute substitute. Before him, no Bianconeri player had ever come off the bench and contributed to three goals in a UCL match.
