West Bromwich and Derby County face off this Saturday at the The Hawthorns in EFL Championship.
West Bromwich have 10 points to their name this season and occupy 2nd position in the table. Last time out, Ryan Mason's team triumphed 0-1 against Stoke City (EFL Championship 2025/26).
Derby County currently have 2 points and lie in 21st position. In their last fixture, John Eustace's team shared the spoils 2-2 with Ipswich Town (EFL Championship 2025/26).
The last meeting between the two teams ended in a 1-1 draw.
Cory Hancock (Rams Review Podcast): The international break has allowed the Rams time to rest, recovery and heal ahead of their match against West Brom. Derby's injuries are getting better and it won't be long before manager John Eustace has a full complement of players to choose from.
Derby have been pretty poor to start the season. Performances have been well below par. Hopefully some time away from the action can reset the minds of the players and the season for The Rams.
This will be Derby's second trip to The Hawthorns this season, they won on penalties in the League Cup but were terribly poor throughout.
Carlton Morris has been a shining light in this team. The striker has already scored four goals. Derby need him to keep firing. I'd expect the defense to be much better after the break.
West Brom are second in the league and will be a difficult team to beat at home. I'm normally upbeat about the Rams chances, however, I expect a win for the Baggies.
