Wrexham host Oxford United this Wednesday at the STOK Cae Ras (The Racecourse Ground) for matchweek 11 of the EFL Championship.

Wrexham have picked up 10 points and currently lie in 18th position. Last time out, Phil Parkinson's team slipped to a 1-0 defeat against Stoke City (EFL Championship 2025/26).

Oxford United currently have 9 points and lie in 19th position. In their last fixture, Gary Rowett's team won 1-0 against Derby County (EFL Championship 2025/26).

The last meeting between the two teams ended with Oxford United winning 2-1.

The Fan Zone

Craig Jones : Our return to action on Saturday saw a disappointing outcome with a 1-0 loss away at Stoke City.

It was a tight game for most part, but we missed a great chance and they scored there's. All about fine margins again!

It's four games without a win now, and although it's early days, there must be a bit of pressure on the players and management to start getting more points on the board.

We welcome Oxford United to The Racecourse on Wednesday evening - the only other team in the Championship who we faced during our spell in non-league.

The U's were one of the favourites to go down this season with a few pundits, and they sit one point and place behind Wrexham after ten games.

They did record their second win of the season on Saturday with a very deserved win over the struggling Derby County.

We are seeking our first home win in the league and this is one game we'll definitely be hoping to get three points.

Another tough match is expected though and we're yet to play any opposition that we've been much better than really.

I think there might be two or three changes from the starting XI on Saturday to freshen things up, as it did look a bit lacklustre at times.

Liberato Cacace is almost certain to come in at left wing back after a return from the bench against Stoke, with Ryan Longman making way.

I also wouldn't be surprised to see Lewis Brunt return to the fold in place of Callum Doyle at the back.

Nathan Broadhead has looked a lot more lively than Josh Windass of late and that could be another change that Phil Parkinson considers.

The midfield three should stay the same, but Ollie Rathbone is back and could be knocking on the door to stake his place in the starting XI.

It feels like a game we really need to win and I'm going for a narrow 2-1 victory.

Prediction: 2-1
