West Bromwich Albion beat Burnley 3-1 at The Hawthorns as Isaac Price struck twice, lifting them from eighth to second in the Championship.

Callum Styles put through his own net in the eighth minute to give the Clarets the lead, but Harry Whitwell levelled from Jimmy-Jay Morgan's pass (18.).

Max O'Leary thwarted Armando Broja with a low stop (20.), and Jacob Bruun Larsen hit the right post (42.) as the visitors threatened before the break.

After the restart, Price drilled in from outside the box to turn the game around (46.). Max Weiß then tipped Ousmane Diakité's header away from the top corner (52.) as the hosts pressed.

Whitwell was fouled by Bashir Humphreys for a penalty, and Price converted from the spot (65.).

There was a late stoppage when Jayson Molumby went off injured in the fourth minute of second half stoppage time.

West Bromwich Albion tallied seven shots on target from 11 attempts. The Clarets had three on target from 11 and struck the woodwork once. Morgan is first in the Championship assists chart with two this season.
