FLW's Millwall fan pundit is cautious of overhyping the in-form wideman
This article is part of Football League World's 'Terrace Talk' series, which provides personal opinions from our FLW Fan Pundits regarding the latest breaking news, teams, players, managers, potential signings and more...
Femi Azeez is currently in the form of his life in the infancy of his second season at Millwall.
The Lions are currently third in the Championship, having won four in a row, and the 24-year-old has been the catalyst for the run, netting in each win.
After an inconsistent first season at The Den, where he started just 21 times in league action and scored only four goals throughout the campaign in all competitions, Azeez has now matched that goal tally in the opening months of this term and is showing signs of the player he was back at Reading.
Recently, Millwall have prided themselves on bringing in young stars, developing them and selling them on for hefty fees. Their top two sales have come in the past year, after Romain Esse and Zian Flemming both departed for Crystal Palace and Burnley, respectively, and some are now wondering whether Azeez will join that list shortly.
FLW's Millwall fan pundit, Lucas Bell, isn't letting himself get carried away, however, and feels that the 24-year-old needs to show this form over a longer period of time before he starts to think about putting a price on his head.

When Football League World asked Bell what price tag he'd place on Azeez, the fan pundit was reluctant to answer, as, despite Millwall's model now of looking to "sell to buy," the 24-year-old's strong form could just be a mere purple patch.
"I know we're definitely keen to be a club that sells to buy at times, but we're not going to put a price on every single player's head immediately as soon as he has a good run of form," he explained.
"Femi's obviously come in with a good reputation from Reading, but he started a bit hit-and-miss with us, to be honest, before growing into things towards the back end of last season.
"He'd do well for a couple, or three, games, then pick up an injury, and then he'd be out for a couple, so he needs to make sure he can now be consistently available for us and produce over a longer spell of the season.
"Because so far he's done nothing yet, with all due respect."
There have been plenty of exciting attacking midfielders and wingers in the Championship who have shown from the off that they have what it takes to hang with the best, such as Jarrod Bowen and Ebere Eze, to name just two.
Whilst Azeez's form is incredible so far, it's all about ensuring that it remains that way, which Bell hopes will be the case.
"He's in great form, and long may it continue, as I really like him as a player," he added.
"I much prefer him on the right-hand side, rather than on the left, but he's good on both and that obviously is another useful string to add to his bow.
"So he seems to be really enjoying his football. Alex Neil said that he's in the best place mentally and physically since he joined, and long may that continue — it's obviously a credit to the environment we're creating and, obviously, he's been a very good part of the recent winning run."

It's arguable to say that Azeez blossomed a little later than others, as the 24-year-old had his breakout year just three seasons ago, but the Millwall man does have the potential to make it into the top flight.
Bell won't put a potential price tag on Azeez, but hopes that he can continue his good form and remain an important player in Alex Neil's side as they embark on an unlikely promotion push.
"He's a good player, and at 24, clearly has potential to go on and grow and do more at this level, particularly," he said.
"I'm just wary of putting players too high up in terms of fee estimations when they're in good form, as if he goes four or five games without a goal or an assist, everyone will say he's being overpriced or not consistent enough.
"So I probably don't want to put a fee on him, but he's doing really well, and he'll remain a really important player for us if he stays fit, which hopefully will be the case."
These past four games could be vital for the career of Azeez, as he's showing the potential to be a top Championship player after a slow start at The Den.
If he can keep this up, there'll be many touting him to make an impact in the Premier League, and perhaps he can get there with Millwall
