Prosecutors seek two-and-a-half-year jail sentence for Real Madrid star | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Raúl Asencio is facing up to a potential spell behind bars.

This comes amid confirmation of fresh developments in the court case against the Blancos’ defensive talent.

Asencio has for his part been under investigation in a criminal setting for some time now.

This comes after the 22-year-old, as well as former youth teammates Andrés García, Ferrán Ruiz and Juan Rodríguez, were accused of recording and distributing sexual videos of two women, including a minor.

The case had gone somewhat quiet over recent months, after Asencio was formally prosecuted for his crimes back in May.

As alluded to above, though, this weekend, a major update on the situation has been forthcoming.

This comes amid confirmation on the part of Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, amongst others, that:

‘The prosecutor is requesting two and a half years in prison for Asencio, a Real Madrid player, for two alleged crimes against the privacy of two women, one of whom is a minor.’
