Today marks the 20th anniversary of Aurelio De Laurentiis’ Napoli Presidency: ‘Thanks to all those who participated in this accomplishment.’

Napoli president De Laurentiis is ‘proud’ to celebrate 20 years of his Napoli presidency, the Partenopei owner said on X, formerly Twitter.

ADL acquired Napoli after the club went bankrupt in 2004, bringing the Partenopei from Serie C to the summit of Italian football in 2022-23, when they won their first Scudetto in 33 years under Luciano Spalletti.

“I am proud to celebrate the first 20 years of this extraordinary path as President and owner of Napoli,” De Laurentiis said on X, formerly Twitter.

“Together, we brought the club to excelling in Italy and Europe with a winning journey. Thanks to all those who participate in this accomplishment.”

Napoli posted a celebratory video on their X account.

“Twenty years of passion, challenges and dreams that became reality. From outlying fields to European nights. Five trophies, one Scudetto that brought us to the top of Italy after 33 years of wait. Twenty years full of irresistible passion that continues to beat in all the Azzurri hearts. The history continues!”
