PERTH – On the eve of Juventus vs. Inter in Australia, Ivan Provedel answered questions from the media at Optus Stadium ahead of the team's training session in front of the Nerazzurri fans.

Can you tell us about your first month with Inter, how you've settled into the group and how important it has been to immediately test yourself against top opposition, as you've been doing on this tour? "I'm really happy to be at Inter. It's been a very exciting first month for me and the work we've done over the past few days has been stimulating from the outset. Spending time with my new teammates has immediately shown me why this team and this group have won so much."

Joining Inter brings you full circle, having supported the Nerazzurri since you were a child. How does it feel and what emotions are you experiencing? "I've dreamed of being here ever since I was a kid. I was fortunate enough to get this call and, beyond the happiness I feel, it has brought back the dreams I had as a child. As we grow up, we often stop dreaming quite as much, but being here is truly incredible and motivates me every day to keep improving."

You've often started in goal. What will your role be at Inter? "I came here to make myself available to the team. I have to prove every day that I belong here. The coach will make his decisions, but it's up to me to show that I can perform at this level. I'll contribute every day by giving my best for the team."

What kind of people have you found at Inter, both among your fellow goalkeepers and the staff? "I've met great professionals and wonderful people. We're spending a lot of time together, and I'm really happy to have met them. It's a close-knit group; we care about each other and support one another."
