Former PSG coach Unai Emery appears to have a cunning plan in mind. The tactician is reportedly eyeing a move to steal prodigy Ibrahim Mbaye from the French capital club.

After impressing at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, Ibrahim Mbaye has become the target of numerous suitors. At just 18 years old, the young Senegalese winger has established himself as one of PSG's most promising prospects. While the French club is determined to build around its youth, Ibrahim Mbaye is now firmly on the radar of several top European clubs.

Among the figures circling these talented youngsters, one name stands out for Parisian fans: Unai Emery. The former PSG manager, now at the helm of Aston Villa, could use the summer transfer window to make a move for Mbaye. According to The Athletic, the Senegalese starlet has been on the Villans' shortlist since last summer.

Although he has extended his contract until 2028, all signs suggest that Mbaye will remain loyal to PSG, but next season could see the first serious attempts to lure him away.
