Paris Saint-Germain will keep work on potential stadium sites in Massy and Poissy as the priority, and does not plan to comment on mayoral candidates’ proposals for the Parc des Princes until after the Paris municipal elections.

The club said in a statement that the project requires a stable institutional framework and a serious, methodical timetable, and that significant resources are already committed with local partners at Massy and Poissy. It added that it would look for concrete outcomes following the votes on 15 and 22 March 2026 before taking a view.

On Tuesday, Emmanuel Grégoire, a Socialist MP running to succeed Anne Hidalgo, set out that, if elected, he would put the sale of the Parc des Princes to the Paris Council, a stance that contrasts with the current mayor’s position. He previously served as Hidalgo’s first deputy with responsibility for negotiations with PSG on the issue.

PSG have long sought to buy the stadium, but after the city’s refusal the club turned to new-build options in the suburbs, notably at Poissy and Massy.

It is attentive to statements emerging in the campaign, which it views as evidence of momentum around its project and strong interest in PSG’s future. Those who want the club to remain at the Parc may see that as a positive sign, but no decision has been taken.
