Paris Saint-Germain’s two-season documentary will not air on Netflix after all, with Mediawan’s Black Dynamite now steering the project and a new broadcast deal expected.
According to L'Informé, Black Dynamite, part of Mediawan, has taken charge of the series after Netflix walked away amid disagreements with PSG.
In early June 2025, days after PSG won their first Champions League final in Munich, club president Nasser al-Khelaïfi said a behind-the-scenes series would follow the Club World Cup and be available on Netflix.
Delays have pushed the project to cover the last two campaigns, including historic back-to-back Champions League triumphs, but Netflix ended the deal after failing to secure the access it wanted.
Mediawan has secured the rights and Black Dynamite, led by Éric Hannezo, is finishing the film using material already shot and footage captured by its own crews during the spring run-in.
An agreement with a new broadcaster should be completed soon.
