A recent report from SPORT has revealed that Paris Saint-Germain are quietly positioning themselves as the most likely destination for Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr. should he decide to leave the Spanish capital in 2026.
The Brazilian’s future at Madrid appears increasingly uncertain following ongoing tension with manager Xabi Alonso, which reportedly reached a breaking point during El Clasico against Barcelona.
According to the report, Vinicius’ outburst on the touchline was more than just a moment of frustration. It was a sign of deeper discontent.
The relationship between the two is said to be irreparably broken and the outlet affirms that ‘there is no turning back.’
Vinicius, whose contract runs until July 2027, has not yet agreed to an extension, because the club have refused to meet his salary expectations.
This situation puts Madrid in a difficult position since by next summer, the forward will only have a year left on his deal, drastically lowering his transfer value.

It is said that the Brazilian forward is already considering potential destinations, and one name stands above the rest is Paris Saint-Germain.
There are other options such as the Saudi League and the Premier League, but reports say that PSG motivate him the most, especially after their treble-winning season under Luis Enrique.
It is mentioned the report that Vinicius admires Luis Enrique’s tactical setup and believes the PSG style of play would perfectly suit his attacking instincts.
The winger also feels he would have no issue adapting to the Spaniard’s demanding personality, mostly because Enrique had great success while managing players like Neymar and Lionel Messi at Barcelona.
For now, PSG are keeping their distance, monitoring the situation carefully.
But if Vinicius’ relationship with Alonso continues to deteriorate, the French giants could soon be ready to make their move.
