PSG equal European record 12th Champions League victory this year | OneFootball

It has been a memorable 2025 for Paris Saint-Germain. The French giants secured another Ligue 1 title this year, while also lifting the Trophée des Champions, the Coupe de France, and their first UEFA Champions League title.

In Europe, this team have been on fire throughout the year and haven’t missed a beat since crushing Inter 5-0 in the Champions League final.

On Tuesday, they dominated a helpless Bayer Leverkusen, winning 7-2. In doing so, Luis Enrique’s men picked up their 12th triumph in the competition this year. That puts them on par with the 2014 Real Madrid team and the 2001 edition of Bayern Munich for the most Champions League victories in a calendar year.

PSG are three for three so far in the Champions League this season, outscoring their opponents by a combined margin of 13-4.

They have a chance to break that record at the Parc des Princes next month. Their upcoming match in the competition will see them face Bayern Munich on November 4 in the French capital.
