The brilliant teenager impressed as a squad player last season, and PSG would love to keep him. But he’s pressing to leave to get more first team football, and teams are preparing to try and buy him.

German clubs offer perfect destination for wantaway winger

Djamel’s update says that Man City are “taking a close interest” in the winger. “Several English and German clubs” are also mentioned, with Dortmund and Leipzig named specifically.

If Mbaye wants first team action, the German pair are surely the right choice. They have a long history of developing young talents. A move to City would create the same issues he has at PSG.

The insider concludes that “the Parisian management is now open to a departure,” and will now just focus on getting the best price possible for their winger this summer.
