Randal Kolo Muani’s move to Juventus looked almost certain to happen – but there are now serious doubts about it.

Not long ago we were writing about the potential sale of Randal Kolo Muani to Juventus as though it was a done deal.
PSG want to sell, Juventus were interested in buying the attacker they had on loan two years ago, and the Kolo Muani was happy to go. But since then there’s been real trouble agreeing a transfer fee, and the whole deal now risks falling apart.
On his website, Italian transfer insider Gianluca Di Marzio has pointed out that the two parties remain “distant” on price.
However, it does seem there’s more progress in terms of a potential loan deal, with Juventus obliged to buy Kolo Muani at the end of it if he helps them get back into European football. That does sound like a good solution for both parties – but PSG would prefer a full sale, and may hold out until they get it.
The Old Lady have lined up Alexander Sorloth of Atletico Madrid as an alternative.
PSG want to keep hold of academy talent Ibrahim Mbaye, but the winger is pushing hard for an exit and Premier League teams are very interested in what he can offer.
While Mbaye could go, PSG are closing in on their first major attacking addition of the summer, with a top Ligue 1 talent already having agreed personal terms.
