Paris Saint-Germain have nine players on the 30-man shortlist for the 2026 Ballon d'Or, the first club to do so in successive years.

According to L'Équipe, the award will be presented in London on 26 October, and PSG again match Real Madrid's single-edition high, achieved in 2003 and 2018. The 2003 list featured 50 names.

PSG’s 2025-26 campaign delivered five trophies, including a second consecutive Champions League and a fifth straight French league title.

Willian Pacho and Marquinhos join them this year. Gianluigi Donnarumma and Désiré Doué, part of last season’s nine after an outstanding European campaign, are absent.

Ferran Torres is also shortlisted, having joined PSG this summer for around €50m, but he is credited to Barcelona for last season’s performances. He therefore augments Spain’s contingent, not PSG’s.

Spain, the world champions this summer, lead national representation by one over France. Fabián Ruiz is the only player to have won both major titles in the period, the Champions League with Paris and the World Cup with Spain.
