Paris investigating judges have issued a non-lieu in the case examining claims of moral harassment at PSG towards Kylian Mbappé.

The inquiry was opened after Mbappé lodged a complaint in mid-May 2025, then withdrew it once a judicial investigation had begun. According to L'Équipe, the judges delivered the decision in May, saying there were not sufficient grounds to proceed.

They noted he had formally pulled his complaint and made that known publicly, which in their view made further investigation impossible. The magistrates anticipated that witnesses and those implicated would simply cite the withdrawal rather than answer questions.

Mbappé’s complaint, which also alleged attempted extortion of a signature, centred on his placement in a so-called “loft” in summer 2023, a practice that isolates players from the first team and is already the subject of several probes in Paris. He left PSG at the end of his contract in 2024 to join Real Madrid.

Mbappé’s lawyer, Pierre-Olivier Sur, declined to comment, and PSG offered no comment either. A separate financial dispute ended on 16 December with PSG ordered to pay nearly €61 million in unpaid salary, bonuses and holiday, a ruling the club chose not to appeal, making it final.
