Roberto De Zerbi's side were thrashed 5-0 by Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday, and the mockery rolled into Monday.

According to L'Équipe, PSG posted on X on Monday a spoof goal celebration image showing a fictional 75-0 score, credited in stoppage time to their mascot, Germain. The defeat came at the Parc des Princes in Ligue 1's 21st round. Play was briefly halted in the 71st minute after discriminatory chants.

The stunt formed part of a broader Paris rollout, including tifos in the stands, songs from home supporters and post-match messaging.

Marseille also faced a chilly reception at home. La Provence carried a stark one-word front page, Nuls. La Marseillaise labelled the team a galère marseillaise.

The tone from both cities underlined how striking Marseille's display was, and it may prove hard to forget at the Orange Vélodrome.
