PSG players to rest at weekend before hosting Liverpool on Wednesday | OneFootball

Paris Saint-Germain’s squad will have Saturday and Sunday off, the club said in its official schedule. Training resumes on Monday 6 April, two days before the Champions League quarter-final first leg at home to Liverpool on Wednesday 8 April at 21:00.

Their match against their runners-up, Lens, originally scheduled for 11 April, has been postponed.

Luis Enrique and his players will use the weekend to recharge before a pivotal run. It brings a Liverpool quarter-final double-header, then a home game against Olympique Lyonnais, currently fourth and chasing the podium.

The Reds will not enjoy the same respite. They travel to the Etihad Stadium to face Manchester City in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Saturday 4 April at 13:45.

The reigning European champions host Toulouse at the Parc des Princes on Friday for Ligue 1 matchday 28, with kick-off at 20:45.
