As expected, Ousmane Dembélé will play no part in Paris Saint-Germain’s game against FC Metz on Saturday night. His presence against AS Monaco in midweek is also in the balance.

Dembélé came off injured within the first 30 minutes of PSG’s UEFA Champions League play-off first-leg against Monaco on Tuesday. Without him, Les Parisiens got the win and they will have to do the same at the Parc des Princes on Saturday.

In his place, Goncalo Ramos is expected to start, and there is expected to be a degree of rotation, with Ibrahim Mbaye coming in for his first start since his return from the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). It will mean that Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will likely drop to PSG’s bench.

As well as Dembélé, Luis Enrique will also be without Senny Mayulu, Fabián Ruiz, and Quinten Ndjantou.

PSG likely line-up v Metz

Matvey Safonov; Lucas Hernandez, Lucas Beraldo, Illia Zabarnyi, Achraf Hakimi; Lee Kang-in, Vitinha, Warren Zaire-Emery; Désiré Doué, Gonçalo Ramos, Ibrahim Mbaye. (L’Éq)
