Paris Saint-Germain reached a third Champions League final, their second in succession, after eliminating Bayern Munich. L'Équipe highlights Opta's standout numbers from the semi-final second leg.
PSG are the first club to reach consecutive finals since Liverpool in 2018 and 2019. Since their first appearance at this stage in 2020, no club has reached the final more often. They have now made five major European finals, three in the Champions League and two in the Cup Winners' Cup, joining Marseille as the leading French club on that tally.
PSG versus Arsenal will be the first French-English final in the history of major European competitions.
Bayern have been eliminated in the Champions League semi-finals eight times, the joint-most alongside Barcelona and Real Madrid. Harry Kane scored his 55th goal of the season in all competitions, equalling Robert Lewandowski's Bayern record of 55 set in 2019-2020.
No player has more Champions League goal involvements this season than Khvitcha Kvaratskhelia, with 10 goals and six assists. He is the first in the round-of-16 era to register a goal contribution in seven consecutive knockout matches in one season. He shares the 2025-2026 assists lead with Michael Olise and Achraf Hakimi.
