PSG put themselves in the English football spotlight last season on their way to winning the UEFA Champions League. The Parisians eliminated Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Arsenal on their way to the final.

Moreover, the Ligue 1 side also faced Chelsea in the FIFA Club World Cup final and Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Super Cup final. As a result, the French giants could eventually become a spot where an English player decides that Paris is where he wants to play for a potential move abroad.

While the 2026 summer transfer window is still far away, it isn’t stopping clubs from piling up their target wishlist. Furthermore, PSG could be looking at a player from the Premier League to boost their midfield.

TBR Football reports that Crystal Palace have come to terms with Marc Guehi’s departure in 2026, but they remain hopeful about retaining Adam Wharton beyond this season.

While Palace recognize that keeping Wharton long-term may not be feasible, they are open to offering him a new contract that could extend his stay until 2027. Furthermore, the young midfielder could potentially cost near the triple-digit fee mark.

Should Wharton decide to move on, he has several opportunities abroad, with Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and PSG all showing interest in the 21-year-old.

“Whilst not putting a £100m price-tag on Wharton’s head,” TBR Football’s Graeme Bailey said. “Palace firmly believe they have a player on-par with anything in the world for his age, and I don’t think many would argue. Palace know when he does move he will command a significant fee.”
