According to a report from Foot Mercato, Paris Saint-Germain have rejected a considerable offer for South Korea international Lee Kang-in (23).
Kang-in joined PSG last summer from RCD Mallorca in a €22m move, signing a five-year deal, tying him to the club until the summer of 2028. Despite considerable competition in midfield and upfront, he did nonetheless earn considerable game time, featuring on 23 occasions in Ligue 1 and registering four assists.
His performances have seemingly convinced Les Parisiens to retain him ahead of the current season, despite expected further recruitment in the midfield and forward line this summer. Foot Mercato understands that a €70m bid from an unnamed Premier League club has been rejected by the reigning Ligue 1 champions, who seem determined to retain the South Korea international.
After one season, Kang-in himself is happy in the French capital, making a departure from PSG this summer highly unlikely.
