PSG seal 14th title at Lens amid banner duel between rival fans

Paris Saint-Germain sealed their 14th league title at Lens on Wednesday night, and the celebration quickly turned into a banner battle between rival supporters.

According to L'Équipe, the exchanges unfolded at Bollaert-Delelis, in front of a Lens side who had long stayed in touch in the title race.

Around 1,000 travelling Paris fans in the away end opened hostilities with a taunting message, «Lens champion, fini d'y croire... retournez boire!!!! ».

The Lens kop responded immediately, targeting the Collectif Ultras Paris and Qatar with, «Frustré de pas avoir d'alcool au Qatar? CUP bâtard».

During the game, Lens supporters had also displayed other banners aimed at the LFP and Nasser Al-Khelaïfi to voice their displeasure.
