Marcus Rashford was one of the few players FC Barcelona incorporated into their squad in the last summer transfer window, as he joined the Blaugrana side on loan from Manchester United.
There were some early doubts about this move, as the Englishman had not been playing at his best level in England for quite some years now.
However, after a few encouraging outings with the Catalan team, he put in a masterful performance in the UEFA Champions League tie against Newcastle United, which would surely have excited the Barcelona fans.
If he continues to put on such displays, the Blaugrana club would definitely want to keep him in their team. While this was expected to be a rather easy task for the Catalans, a recent development means getting Rashford permanently might not be as easy for them.

This development is the entry of Paris Saint-Germain on the scene for the Englishman, as Fichajes reports that the French side is now also interested in Rashford, and is willing to pay up to €45 million for him.
The final decision will depend on Marcus Rashford himself and Manchester United, but there is no doubt that the Premier League side would be more tempted to sell the player for €45 million than for the €30 million purchase option that Barcelona have.
