Concerns over his minutes, and PSG's pursuit of wingers Yan Diomande and Maghnes Akliouche, has led Barcola to consider his options this summer.

Liverpool, who look set to miss out on Diomande to PSG, have earmarked Barcola as an alternative, while Arsenal are admirers as thePremier League champions look to upgrade on the left-wing.

However,The Athletic are reporting that PSG are in a strong position and do not need to sell Barcola this summer.

Goncalo Ramos's move to AC Milan for a fee in excess of €70m has eased the need to recoup funds, while Lee Kang-In is also expected to join Atletico Madrid. PSG are also inviting offers for Randal Kolo Muani, who spent last season on loan at Tottenham, with those exits strengthening their position on Barcola.

The 23-year-old, who scored 13 goals in all competitions last season, is reportedly 'reluctant' to sign a new deal with the back-to-back Champions League winners, amid reservations over his role.

He is keen for more regular minutes from the start, something Arsenal or Liverpool could offer. PSG believe speculated transfer fees for Barcola are far below his true valuation, which the Parisians believe is in excess of £116m.

PSG are adamant Barcola should cost a 'much higher price' than Elliot Anderson, who looks set to join Manchester City from Nottingham Forest for that fee.

Barcola scored the second goal as France beat Sweden 3-0 in the last-32 of the World Cup on Tuesday night. He has netted twice and provided an assist in only 202 minutes of action at the tournament. France will face Paraguay in the last 16 on Saturday evening.
