PSG start Fabian Ruiz over Warren Zaïre-Emery for Champions League final against Arsenal | OneFootball

According to L'Équipe, PSG have opted to start Fabian Ruiz instead of Warren Zaïre-Emery for the Champions League final against Arsenal in Budapest, kick-off 18:00.

Zaïre-Emery, the club’s most used player this season, misses out from the XI. Achraf Hakimi returns from injury to start at right-back, with Luis Enrique pairing Ruiz with Joao Neves and Vitinha in midfield.

After a few days of treatment for a right calf issue, Ballon d'Or winner Ousmane Dembélé leads the line for the holders, flanked by Désiré Doué on the right and Khvitcha Kvaratskhelia on the left.

Apart from goalkeeper Safonov, Enrique has named exactly the same side that beat Inter Milan 5-0 in last year’s final in Munich.

PSG’s starting XI: Safonov in goal, a defence of Hakimi, captain Marquinhos, Pacho and Nuno Mendes, a midfield of Neves, Vitinha and Ruiz, and a front three of Doué, Dembélé and Kvaratskhelia.
