PSG to face Manchester United in Gothenburg pre-season friendly on the eighth of August

Paris Saint-Germain will face Manchester United in a pre-season friendly on the eighth of August at Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg.

According to L'Équipe, the fixture has been confirmed after recent reports in Britain. Ullevi is a 43,200-capacity venue usually used by IFK Göteborg.

The date falls a few days before the UEFA Super Cup in Salzburg on 12 August. Luis Enrique’s side would feature there only if they retain the Champions League.

United’s summer schedule is already busy, with Atletico Madrid on the first of August in Stockholm. They then meet AC Milan on 15 August in Wroclaw, Poland.

PSG have yet to reveal the rest of their summer programme.
