Le Parisien reports that PSG are preparing to offer João Neves a new contract running to 2030, rewarding his impact since arriving in summer 2024.
The European champions are said to be delighted with the 21-year-old Portugal international’s performances and want to extend his deal despite several years left. The report provided no details on any salary revision.
A Seixal academy product, Neves was Benfica’s latest high-value sale. A recent study indicated the Lisbon club lead the world for profits from player trading.
This season Neves has played 23 competitive matches for PSG, 14 in Ligue 1, six in the Champions League, one in the Intercontinental Cup, one in the Coupe de France and one in the French Super Cup.
Across 1,744 minutes he has recorded six goals and two assists, and is valued at 110 million euros.
