PSG to receive nearly 2.5 million euros from FIFA World Cup benefits programme | OneFootball

According to L'Équipe, PSG will receive the second-highest FIFA Club Benefits payment for the 2026 World Cup, behind Manchester City.

Fresh from 150 million euros for their Champions League triumph, the double European champions are due exactly 2.49 million euros for releasing their internationals, edging Arsenal on 2.4 million euros.

City sent 19 players, the biggest contingent, while PSG had 16, the same as Arsenal. City top the payouts on 3.1 million euros. Bayern Munich had 18 but rank fourth on 2.3 million euros after Germany's last 32 exit to Paraguay, 1-1, 3-4 on penalties.

In France, PSG lead the way ahead of LOSC on 1.2 million euros for eight players, then Monaco with 960,000 euros for six. Rennes receive 930,000 euros, Strasbourg 910,000 euros, Nice 890,000 euros and Marseille 880,000 euros.

By league, Ligue 1 totals 11.83 million euros, fourth behind the Premier League, the Bundesliga and La Liga, and ahead of Serie A.

Payouts are set at 4,300 euros per player per day from one June to 19 July 2026, using a one dollar to 0.86 euro conversion rate. The 305.3 million euro pot is distributed pro rata to clubs that employed each player over the past two seasons.
